Walking in a Winter Wonderland: a Nail Tutorial

Dear Beauty and Fashion lovers,
     Today I have a nail tutorial for you all. I really couldn't think of anything to blog, but then I was like "I should do my nails" so here it is!
      Step 1:

 

Remove any nail polish that was previously on your nails with a non- acetone nail polish remover. I'm using the Up&Up brand.
Step 2:

     Now apply a frosty blue shade over your entire nail. Here I'm using Caribbean Frost by Wet 'n' Wild. Do two coats to make it opaque.

Step 3:

Once the coats are completely dry, put tape of the top third of your nail. Keep in mind that you need to have room for the other colors your going to apply next (:

 Step 4:

 Apply a periwinkle blue over top of your nail and over the tape. Do as many coats as you need to make it opaque. The nail polish I'm using here is Bikini So Teeny by Essie.

Step 5: Once the nail polish is all dry, apply tape over your nail just like in step 3.

Step 6:

Apply a very pale silvery blue all over your taped nail. The color should be completely opaque.

Step 7:

Once your nails are dry, apply a glittery white nail polish over top. I like to do two coats to really amp up the glitter factor (;

The thing that really pulls this look together is the glittery topping. Its like frosting on a cupcake!
Step 8:

Lastly apply a top coat over the glitter to really lock in the polish and glitter.
