Many people are falling in love with BB creams because they are a perfect combination of foundation, skincare, moisturizer, and coverage. A frequently asked question is if there is any difference between the Asian BB Creams and our regular L'Oreal, Maybelline, Cover girl, Garnier, etc. brands BB Cream. To answer that ever present question, yes there is a difference between Asian BB creams and other kinds. So while the kinds that you can get at a drugstore are nice and wonderful, Asian BB creams go above and beyond!
Asia has many different companies that make BB creams, like Holika, and Skin79 just to name a few. My personal favorite one is Dream Girls by Skin79. The cool thing about Asian BB creams, is that they have so many options for different skincare needs. For instance, the Dream Girls BB cream has an SPF( Sun Protection Factor) of 30, it reduces redness, and balances out your skin tone The Skin care element of it is that it soothes your skin and it makes your skin more beautiful. I love these products and I highly recommend them.
The BB creams that have just recently rocked our shores have some of these similar qualities but not all.of them. One of my favorites and the one most like Asian creams is the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB. It has close to the same texture and skin care elements as well. It has amazing coverage for its price and it is very lightweight. Another that has a similar quality is the Garnier BB cream. Most of the BB creams don't have as moisturizing of a texture or the amazing coverage or skincare elements that it should. If you can, try to get one that has a smaller amount of chemicals in it, so your skin isn't treated to harshly.
Now that you have heard the differences the choice is yours. Either one you choose, keep in mind that they all have different properties to them that are admirable and don't break your bank for one either.
